How to Make a Quick & Cheap Wedding Favor

Stenciled Wedding Favor for Cheap

The more guests at the wedding, the more time and money it takes to make favors for your wedding guests.  Today, I want to show you a really quick and inexpensive wedding favor that will look adorable at each place setting, or as a collection in a basket.

Wedding Favor Supplies

At the Dollar Store, I found a four pack of serving tongs -- that's just .25 cents each!!  With a stencil and some paint, you can transform them into a cute favor for your wedding, or any other special event.

Cheap & Quick Wedding Favor

Since I was putting a tiny heart on the top of the tongs, where food doesn't touch, I just used acrylic paint.  However, if you are going to add paint further down, you will want to make sure your paint is food safe.

1.  Tape down stencil.

2.  Use a sponge to apply paint.

3.  Let dry.

It's that simple!!

You can finish it off with a fancy ribbon, a thank you note, or cute embellishment.

Quick & Cheap Wedding Favor

Because this wedding favor is so quick, you can find it being featured by Angie at The Country Chic Cottage and Carolina at Always Expect Moore for Craft Lightning.  Click on over and see what other great crafts they have that will take you 15 minutes or less.

Happy Crafting!!
