Pink Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ditch those hot chocolate packets, and make your own hot chocolate from ingredients you probably already have on hand.  This easy and quick pink hot chocolate will inspire you to start thinking outside the hot chocolate packet box.

Pink Hot Chocolate Ingredients


Milk,-White-Chocolate-Chips,-Food-Coloring,-vanilla,-marshmallows
Pink Hot Chocolate Ingredients

4 Cups of Milk
1 Cup of White Chocolate Chips
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
A tiny amount of Wilton Rose Icing Color (substitutions discussed below)
Miniature Marshmallows for Topping

How to Make Pink Hot Chocolate


Whisk-Milk-and-white-chocolate-chips 

1.  Warm 4 cups of milk on low to medium setting to a slow simmer

2.  Whisk in 1 cup of white chocolate chips until melted.

 3.  Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

4.  Add a tiny speck of rose colored Wilton icing color.  Note: A little goes a long way.  If you don't have icing color on hand or prefer to go a more natural way, you could add fresh or dried strawberries to your mixture when warming.  Just keep in mind that this will add a strawberry flavor to your pink hot chocolate.

Top your pink hot chocolate with marshmallows or sprinkles


5.  Pour the pink white chocolate into mugs and top with marshmallows.  You can also add sprinkles.
